Microsoft is just the best. Of all the operating systems out there, the one withthe most users is windows. The microsoft store has a great variety of products ans they all work great. Even if they do not then they will just be improved. No one does it better.
The microsft store is straight forward and has the best microsoft products and software. I think that pretty much everyone uses the microsoft office suite and it is a great option. What I wish is for microsoft to try and reduce their prices because some of their products are really expensive.

This is the worst application I've ever used.
They managed to make the Operating System that the whole world uses, but they can't let me download Sea of Thieves. It's really put a dent in my mood! I will be sending the invoice for my upcoming therapy sessions!! :'(
What a mess! Poorly trained staff and now a messed up order that you must deliver and then I must return and reorder!
Products that staff don’t seem to know about or even agree about, chats that disconnect and phone sales staff who appear to dump calls on others, being told I must order with a chat staff member (but they emphasised they were not on commission - no way to know if this is true), but they cannot even order what I asked for. Staff do not know about and cannot see what they are selling and cannot even decide if the product photos are correct (I was told the website must be right and also that the images are from the US and this isn’t what they ship in the U.K.). Being transferred to what I understood to be Technical support wasn’t really technical support and, when identified as such, my call was connected with technical support proper, oh wait, NO IT WAS NOT, it went to another sales person, who didn’t actually seem to know much or answer my questions (a common thread in my experience). Not knowing about the product, a sales person told me returns are free, so I can see what actually arrives and return it if I don’t like what I actually get, but a manger said there may be a charge to collect the item, but that would be up to UPS and not Microsoft, so technically I returns are free! The person I finally ordered from told me the manager was wrong and gave me a case reference to show I was advised collected returns are really free.
After spending the afternoon trying to get help with my purchase and trying to place my order, I ordered a “glacier” (white) keyboard and peach mouse through a phone sales person, in what was a painful and slow process, with lots of long silent pauses for her to check and do things. Sadly, what was requested is not what the sales person seems to have ordered. My order now shows both items as white. Today’s sales person believed I ordered a “black glacier” product, which is the 2 different options merged (black or glacier).
Today, I am told my order from last night was not corrected within 10-15 minutes (they don’t even seem to know how long the customer has!), so it apparently cannot be changed (not stated anywhere I can see!)
I was told I will need to get my order delivered, then send it back and then I’ll have to order again.
The matter has now been escalated and someone will email me sometime (no timescales possible).
Normally, I would go to a real store, but I am shielding, so I figured shopping online from Microsoft.com was a good idea. I was so wrong!
No wonder TrustPilot shows a score for Microsoft of around 1/5!
Save yourself and your sanity and look elsewhere!
Dear Microsoft, some constructive suggestions:
- please train your staff on what you sell and how to provide an acceptable customer experience
- please show model numbers on the website - your staff seemed to think they were there, but I’m not seeing them
- please train your staff on how your returns work and decide if free returns are really free
- please check your U.K. site images are for the products you are actually shipping
- please read this site - a 1/5 score on TrustPilot means things are likely going wrong for too many customers.

Placed an order on the 12th of February with a delivery date of 17th of February, however the order never showed up and was on pending for the whole time even up to the 4th of March, which at this point I cancelled it as customer services were awful and just gave the exact same response each time saying they would 'raise it to a higher team' but nothing happened in this time period. Overall would NEVER buy hardware from Microsoft as the service has been atrocious.
I have had one issue after another with this surface pro, an expensive piece of rubbish, if you buy one, you will be sorry!!!
Ordered an item on 24th of December. Found it somewhere else cheaper on 26th of December. Tried to cancel MS order - impossible. 7 calls, 16 attempted bank charges (by MS) - still not able to cancel a simple order. Never order again.
Does not deserve 1 star but won't let me continue without a selection. Never ever order from Microsoft, as others have stated already communication is disgusting. Empty promises, does not listen and respond.
Extremely disappointing customer service , disappointing lack of contact from escalation or from managers .
Not the greatest place to get your software, look elsewhere, keeps bugging me to install their windows 10 spyware...
I have not had any terrible experience using th microsoft store because it has some very good apps but I have had bad experiences too. There are some apps with so many issues than buying them is just a waste of time. When it comes to windows they are ok but they need to have more improvements.
Microsoft has only given me the best thing since back in the days. It keeps on improving and adding updates to its software and even after you have bought the old versions you will be able to get the new version for free as long as you have a license.
There is no way that they can have to\oribe products because this is microsoft that we are talking about. Everything that I have got from them has been god and I like that very much, You just need to take a look at it form a different perspective.
The microsoft store has a lot to offer. I have ibne using the site for years now and they keep on adding some new things that makes it even more interesting. Microsoft has really come along way ad what they have to offer has always been good.
